Shopping in Kandy

During your stay in Sri-Lanka Kandy is the ideal place for shopping because of Kandy was the last Sinhalese kingdom and there are still traditional families and villages who engage in age old Kandiyan dance, Silver, brass, copper embossed ornaments and jewelry also precious stone (world famous blue sappier), wood carvings, Dumbara mats are very popular among the tourists. There several gem museums and factories, silk and batik factories around the kandy city.
